The Chilton is more than a cocktail—it’s a piece of West Texas culture. Legend has it that the refreshing mix of vodka, fresh lemon juice, soda water and a salted rim was first created at the Lubbock Country Club for a doctor named Chilton. While the full story has never been definitively proven, the drink’s connection to Lubbock and West Texas has only grown over the years. We didn’t invent the Chilton—we’re celebrating it.
